  1. We’ll both have to get back on the gym train this month! I walked a lot, but didn’t make it to CF nearly as much as I should have!

    • Yes, I’m hoping to be better with it — but of course, now come all the holidays! I really need to get into gear and be better disciplined. That’s my problem — lack of self-motivation. In my head I have it all planned out, but when it comes to physically getting into things, I manage to find an excuse… time to stop that~

        • Tonight I took my first steps to getting back to the gym: I’ve packed up my gym bag so I can go to the Boot Camp class at my work gym tomorrow during lunch! :)

          • Whoohoo! I started training for my first 5k and signed up and everything. Terrified but excited.

            • That’s exciting! I’d love to do a 5k, but definitely need to get into a routine before committing. Good luck!!

              • I know what you mean. My friends caught me at a really emotional/stressful time and got me to sign up while I wasn’t thinking property and now I’ve committed to it.

                • But that’s motivation to get back to the gym and CrossFit, right?!

I did a 5k in April for a fundraiser (and walked more than ran/jogged it), but it was really cool to be part of a crowd doing this, and also to be timed. When I got my time, I did better than I expected (since I did walk a lot of it), but it also made me want to train so I could do another one and beat my time! (unfortuately, that hasn’t happened yet! hehe)
