Basically, readers can choose a challenge “level” of how many books they want to read.  Obviously, I’m going for “Severe Bookaholism,” which is 20 books throughout the course of the year.  Historical fiction is one of my absolute favorite genres to read, so I’m extra excited for this.  I also have a lot of books to read (“real” and e-book) that should fit this category.  Yay!

1. Treasure Island, Robert Louis Stevenson

2. The Map of Time, Felix J. Palma

3. The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern

4. The Twelfth Enchantment, David Liss

5. Sorcery & Cecelia, or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot, Patricia C. Wrede & Caroline Stevermer

6. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Robert Louis Stevenson

7. The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett

8. The Island of Dr. Moreau, H. G. Wells

9. Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen

10. The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas

11. Becoming Marie Antoinette, Juliet Grey
