ZooLights (Finally!)

So we finally went to see the ZooLights. This was something that I’ve wanted to do for a few years, even put it on my 30×30 list for 2014-2015. I think I might have hyped it up a bit in my head because it wasn’t quite what I expected but it was still nice and I think Dom enjoyed it. Only a portion of the zoo was available to wander around. Some of the animal exhibits had lights (for example, the Bald Eagles exhibit at the entrance had red, white, and blue lights wrapped around some of the trees). So we took a quick walk around those areas then headed over to the North Pole (Santa’s Castle, where we could take pictures with Santa, and little kiddie rides). There were such cute decorations and set ups. I took Dom on the carousel.

My parents, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law joined us and then friends of ours and their little girl met us there, too.
